Are you a LETS without a personal website allowing you to stimulate and render your exchanges fluid?
In
France, Belgium, Canada, as in a large amount of other countries, most
associations or communities promoting local exchanges, do not have at
their disposal an appropriate website, mainly out of financial reasons.
Other LETS have accomplished to computerize their exchange system, but
remain unable to extract themselves out of the local level in which
they evolve.
easyswap has no ambition to replace existing LETS. On the contrary, easyswap and these LETS are designed to be complementary.
Therefore, easyswap offers to gratuitously put its website at the disposal of interested LETS, to allow the creation of various local communities. The objective is precise and complementary to the preoccupations of LETS:
- The member of the LETS continue to exchange within their own network, in a traditional way, or by the means of their new community created on easyswap (the access is either granted through easyswap or through a plug-in on the website of the LETS partner).
- If necessary, notably in the event of insufficient exchange possibilities due to a lack of offers in a given area, each member of the LETS partner, has the possibility to deactivate the filter "My community" at all time, in order to expand and develop their advertisements within a larger scale, while accessing at the same time the advertisements of an extended community.
